Druids Glen Golf Club

Designed by renowned architect Keith Foster as the centerpiece of an exclusive residential country club community, Druids Glen ultimately debuted as a high-end daily-fee course in 1997.  Routed through thickly-Druids Glen #2 and Mt. Rainierforested terrain with barely a building in view (other than the gorgeous club-house and Fire Creek Grill) Druids Glen offers a peaceful escape from the noisy work-a-day world.

And while the setting may be serene, including frequent views of nearby Mt. Rainier, Druids Glen provides a stern test of your game.  There is water in play on 11 of the 18 holes and back tee yardage stretches to 7146!  Despite that, with four sets of tees, anyone can find a game to their liking at Druids Glen.

Druids Glen #18 & ClubhouseThe course is carpeted tee to green in lush bent grass and it features smooth, true putting surfaces that (somewhat unfortunately) leave only the player to blame for misses with the flatstick.  In addition, a consistent sanding regime has vastly improved drainage, making Druids Glen one of the drier layouts in the Northwest.  But, any chunked pitches or lip-outs will soon be forgotten as you lose yourself in the natural beauty of the course and its surroundings.  As award winning course architect Keith Foster put it,

"It is rare to have an opportunity to design a course on property as spectacular as this.  The views, the elevation change, and a desire to  create a championship quality course made this a truly special project."

Druids Glen #2Druids Glen sports a spacious driving range and huge putting green to help you prepare for the challenge ahead.  Located in Covington, just east of Kent, it is easily accessible for our guests staying anywhere from Seattle or Bellevue down to Tacoma.  The onsite Fire Creek Grill features delicious Northwest-inspired dishes as well as great pub-fare for before- or after-round dining -- and a summertime patio provides a great place to tote up the damage and settle any wagers.  Of course, Northwest micro-brews and wines are on tap at the bar, and all this is served up with spectacular hilltop views of the course and Mt. Rainier.

Druids Glen is a peaceful, yet spectacularly scenic hidden-gem and is a course truly worth playing on your next visit to the Northwest!
